About Us
Since 1985, the Light House has been providing Christ centered care to young mothers and their babies. Every person receives education, counseling, and life skills along with prenatal and pregnancy classes. We strive to provide the most comprehensive, Christ-centered care to young ladies facing unplanned pregnancies in the Kansas City area.

To provide love, support, and guidance to those experiencing unplanned pregnancies by meeting their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs before, during, and after their pregnancies.

Objectives
- To enable and promote the choice of life for young women and their babies
- Help decrease the teenage pregnancy rate by providing education and information about abstinence to young women in schools, churches, and organizations.
- Decrease the number of birth defects resulting from poor prenatal care by offering excellent medical care to the young pregnant women who come to live with us while pregnant.
- Provide solutions for unemployable women trapped in a cycle of poverty through residential and outreach programs.
